Introduction to Inorganic Compounds

Inorganic compounds are compounds that have nothing to do with organisms (a few compounds related to organisms are also inorganic compounds, such as water), corresponding to organic compounds, usually referring to compounds that do not contain carbon, but include carbon oxides, sulfides, carbonates, Cyanides, carboranes, metal carbonyls and other carbon-containing compounds studied in inorganic chemistry are referred to as inorganic substances.
